Touch a Truck 2025

Celebrating its 12th year, Touch A Truck® Jackson is a family-friendly, hands-on event that offers opportunities for children to EXPLORE, CLIMB, and TOUCH trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery, and other equipment. Children also get to meet the personnel who protect, serve, and build our community. Learning comes alive when children connect these gigantic vehicles to our Mississippi economy and to potential careers in industries like farming, manufacturing, and construction.

2024 National Truck Driving Championship

Mississippi's own Jackie Reed with FedEx Freight was named NTDC 2024 Grand Champion at the 87th Annual National Truck Driving Championship and National Step Van Driving Championship in Indianapolis.

CVSA’s Brake Safety Week Scheduled for Aug. 25-31

Brake Safety Week aims to improve commercial motor vehicle brake safety throughout North America. The goal is to eliminate roadway crashes caused by braking systems on commercial motor vehicles by conducting roadside inspections and educating drivers, mechanics, large- and small-fleet motor carriers, owner-operators and others on the importance of proper brake inspection, maintenance and operation.
